Following the sudden departure of Iona Jones, Welsh TV channel S4C has appointed Arwel Ellis Owen as interim chief executive. He will start immediately, remaining in the role until a permanent replacement is found. (Source: MediaGuardian)

The Sunday Times has lost its senior political editor Jonathan Oliver, who leaves the newspaper after two and a half years. He joined the paper in 2007, replacing David Cracknell.
