Times invests in interactive apps

The Times, known for its excellent use of ‘infographics’ in print, has commissioned a design agency to make interactive versions for its iPad app and websites, reports paidContent.

The paper, which recently launched its oft-vexed paywalls, continues to invest in its new platforms, commissioning Applied Works to custom-build “highly engaging interactive charts and graphs”.
